Contemporary Challenges in the Information Media Environment and Solutions for Strengthening Awareness and Resilience
On Thursday, November 6, 2025, a scientific debate was held at the College of Political Science.
The debate was organized through a collaboration between Salahaddin University and the War Studies University in Poland, hosted by the Center for Political and Strategic Studies at the College of Political Science. The event was attended by several diplomats and academic figures, including the Consul General of Poland to the Kurdistan Region and Mr. Amir A. Grgies, Head of the Europe Desk at the Foreign Relations Office of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, along with a number of faculty members and students from the College of Political Science.
Following the panel discussion, the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Hiwa Majeed Khalil, expressed gratitude and appreciation to the panel moderator and panelists. Professor Dr. Aware Amin then presented a certificate of appreciation from the Presidency of Salahaddin University to the Consul General of Poland. The scientific event concluded with questions from the audience and several recommendations and suggestions.
